Women’s Equity Center and Action Network (WE CAN) educates, engages, and activates women of color to increase and strengthen civic engagement of women of color and facilitate policy environments that are responsive to their needs. WE CAN provides high-quality, culturally-component, and gender-informed civic education to women wanting to get involved. Members can join their Sisters Talking Effective Policy (STEP) Teams to organize at the local level or join their reSister Advocacy Campaign to address the health, economic security, and civic leadership needs of women of color. WE CAN is actively building a multiracial, multi-cultural, intergenerational, and intersectional network of skilled women of color leaders who advocate for social change.
