Funding and Financials

Our Funding

For 20 years individuals have given to Mary’s Pence, mostly by writing small checks. Over 7000 people have joined our community.
Our funding comes primarily from individuals. Much comes in increments of $15, $25 and $50.
Many faith communities support us through a tithing fund or collection. Women’s Religious congregations have generously supported Mary’s Pence through the years. Periodically we receive a grant from a Foundation for a specific project.
Many of our donors are regular givers, or Compañeras, giving 4 to 12 times a year. Approximately 20% of our funds come from our treasured Compañeras.

Financial Documents

Mary’s Pence is a 501(c3). Program expenses account for 85% of our spending, fundraising for 10%, and administration for 5%.
